does anyone have info on this? seems to be a cps changer with qsound output. Could only find a small wiki about it and this page I linked that has the most info I found.

Yeah that's just a CPS1 arcade board which many called CPS1.5 because it was a stepped stone between CPS1 and CPS2. It had QSOUND and a bit more protection. It has nothing to do with the CPS Changer. The CPS Changer is not very interesting really. It's just modified CPS1 boards to fit a custom little supergun device. It's nothing like say the NeoGeo AES. In theory the CPS Changer could have had CPS2 or even CPS3 games because the Changer itself contained no actual game hardware. The big boards were all of that.

 

I would have loved to see more cps1 with a qsound advantage unfortunatly it has to be added in software dip switches.

 

CPS2 games basically are that. While the hardware isn't exactly the same, it is very similar and the games got larger amounts of storage memory.

 

CPS1 Dash had also more reliable motherboards than CPS1, and they came as a whole PCB in a shell.
