CPU Key Retrieval on 4xxx Recovery

Hi again all,

What is the best method to grab the CPU key while on a 4xxx recovery? I know there is the KK exploit but that doesn't seem to work with devs, nor do I know anywhere where to get the files are anymore.

I'm asking this because of a beta 2, I know they cant go past 4xxx, which is a problem. I know there is hacked recoveries, but I'm not sure if you can revert back to an original and earlier dashboard. If anyone can shed some light on that, it would be appreciated.

Also, you need to be on 5426, which is too high for a beta 2 mate.

Would anyone know if it's possible to go to a hacked recovery then return to an original recovery?

 

King Kong definitely does work on XDKs. Why do you need your CPU key anyways?

 

Yeah, I could definitely hook you up with the download, i've still got it. But yeah, you are correct, with regards to 5426. How about 4929? I've got that about here somewhere I believe, that's the 4532 kernel which is susceptible to the KK hack.

 

Please, would appreciate that buddy. Can you PM me a link? I have 4929, but I burned a copy last night and tested it out on a xenon final to check it would recover, and I got an E79. My copy is 188MB, but I think 193,xxx,xxx bytes, Ill change this to the exact number when I get home. If it's different to yours, and if its not too much trouble, could you send me a link for that as well please?

My copy of 4929 works 100%, just tested it for you to make sure!

Mines 188MB, 197,842,944 bytes. Will upload them as soon as I possibly can! Hopefully tonight, when I'm home!
