Now I know for a fact that my friend and I read through a video game magazine and saw a review for Crash Bandicoot that was made for Nintendo 64 which I doubt ever made it past proto stage. Anyone got any more info on this?
Crash Bandicoot was an exclusive Sony product while it was made by Naughty Dog and published by Universal Interactive. After 4 succesful games, Universal moved to another developer (actually it seems that every new game after that had a different devs). That's when Crash became a multiplatform game and started to vanish. The 3 platform games and the kart game, all for the PS1, still remain the best Crash games to this date, and everybody should try it.
Noticed how he said, "Had", considering it was probably during the PS1 era if this N64 version is even true. Although I have never heard of it.
The article is long gone sadly, I vaguely remember the game looking more like a N64 game than anything. May have just been an April fools prank or something but I do rememebr my friend and I arguing over which platform it would be better on.
