I stumbled on this back when the game came out on the gamecube. I have no idea what happens in the ps2/xbox versions, but seeing how the gamecube's drive cover is opened manually with a button, well... In the hacking minigame thing (that's where you got the sword and played the multiplayer that was so lame they had to hide it deep in a hacking minigame), just type "eject", and the game crashes with an error message. fun, eh? As far as I can remember, your progress in the hacking minigame wasn't saved until you quit back to the main menu, so it was a pretty funny prank to pull on a friend who was deep in his cheat code magazine (remember those?) and was typing all sorts of crap. "Hey, I know of an awesome command that gives pretty much everything. go on, type "eject"!" 20 seconds later, after a few confused stares at the tv, the rage meter goes up!
