    Hello!

I noticed that there are hash databases for PSX/PS2 (Redump.org, down for maintenance) and PS3 (IRD Library as well as other consoles for checking to make sure your ripped ISO is fully integrous and accurate. PSP however, does not have such a database as far as I can tell.

What do you think the easiest way to go about this is? PSP games don't have a built in hash file for each ISO, right? So would the best way be to have a script that extracts each ISO, hashes each file (MD5/SHA1/SHA256), and lists them in a text document, then deletes the extracted ISO? Would there be a way to accomplish this without extracting, besides doing the whole ISO? I noticed the PS3 IRDs hash each file individually like that, rather than the entire ISO, I guess so you could swap files or add mods and still check the rest of the game's integrity.

    Cheers!

Oh, wow. What are the "security reasons" behind it? I can't imagine any reason why they wouldn't show them. Thanks for the info!

I think it was because the console was still active at the time. If you have a login you can access all the dats. They just don't want unwanted attention.
