I have a duo and it needs recapping, so I might as well do a video mod. What's the best one in your opinion?
I can actually chime in on this because I recently picked up a Duo-R and did an RGB mod. Tim Worthington's AV driver is probably the best RGB amp now and is very easy to use. This board actually has many different uses, but it was primarily intended as a video amp for PC-engine consoles. More info on his website: http://etim.net.au/av-driver/ Best part is he even throws in the surface mount capacitors you need for the classic jailbar fix. Also check out the support thread on the shmups forums for more pictures and info on how to hook it up.
Voultar's RGB mod is top-notch and easier to wire up than Tim Worthington's AV Driver. Available here: http://voultar.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=53
