I've tried several different dashboards on my chipped XBOX. They all work on the system. However, if I change any themes/skins, they just don't stick after restarting the XBOX and it goes back to default skin. Primarily I want to keep using UnleashX and so thats where I want to resolve the issue. Any ideas? Because I've even tried installing UnleashX versions from other installers and such. I have this same UnleashX install on my softmodded XBOX and it saves the themes just fine.
Yea if you look at it when your changin the skin, it says something like "AA+start to save" or somethin like that, don't really remember to well and not home to check. It seems odd and will back you out in a odd way if I remember but it makes the changes stick.
Thank you! It shows a start button and then a forward slash and 2 A buttons. I thought it was saying hold down the start button and then press A twice. Really, you just either press start or the A button twice. They should've just made it be the start button exclusively. Ok! We can close this thread now
Awesome! Sorry I wasn't super exact, memory was failing me. Only ever really use XBMC anymore. Glad I was able to help a bit anyways
Also be aware that some skins will cause UnleashX to crash, it will then boot to the stock skin as well (a message will display).
This skin has worked on my other 2 boxes. I just hadn't applied a skin in so long, that when I went to do it on this new box, I totally blanked. But now it's working just fine. Thanks again everyone.
