http://kotaku.com/5645651/these-dreamcasts-they-are-glorious/gallery/ Those are awesome. I doodled on a DC and gave it to a friend about a year ago, but my design does not hold a candle to the Shenmue and JGR ones. (I can only draw stick figures getting killed, smiling, killing each other while smiling, or standing in a field. That is pretty much it. :banghead
Consider me SHOCKED either. Anyway I always wondered why they had to replace SET with GRIND. And "Future" for Xbox suddenly became JSR once again, how stupid is that?
yeah, I'm curious too. jet set rolls off the tounge, they kept the pirate station named "Jet Set Radio"...probably just Sega's horrible marketing team. "Jet GRIND let's the kids know it's about SKATING!"
http://www.topairbrush.com/Dreamcast.html Anyone's Deutsch here? I would like to know if the guy still does this kind of job.
Ban worthy! Fucking Americans can't get it through their head that "grind" is not a really, really cool word.
He still does, but no reproductions of earlier jobs, like the DC airbrushs, if you are not the holder of the copyright.
I saw that post, but those dreamcasts have been around for a long time. I'm just surprised kotaku reported something so old recently.
They are wellknown in Germany especially. The guy who made them generally makes most of the airbrush consoles for draws and competitions and generations of gamers know them from the ads in magazines. He's active since the PS1 era and made 90% of the airbrush ps1/dc/ps2/xbox/360/ps3 models.
