    Hello all, me once more

Google for me, isnt that great, so i thought i'd give a shot here...

I recently downloaded a audio documentary on the Edmund Fitzgerald, very good indeed. in it, they feature several ballads/songs other than gordon lightfoots.....and i was wondering if there is a piece of software, preferably freeware that would allow me to edit the documentary and "cut" out the song and have it as its own independent mp3 file, for easier listening then having to open the one big documentery and search through it for the song....

    Thanks for the help

    Ryan

Noooo, you'll have to recompress the MP3 if you use that, which will lead to not nice sounding things. Mp3DirectCut or MpTrim will cut MP3s without losing any quality.
