A few years back, to cut a long story short I sold off 99% of my [fairly large] collection for a pittance, I kept a few games that I enjoyed but other than that, I mainly stuck to steam games that I got for ultra cheap and a few of the games I truly loved, mostly simulator games. I think I've finally got to the section where I can call what I have a collection, as such, apologies for the pitiful quality images and onwards with the pics! Firstly, my favourite part of my collection, I REALLY love simulator games, of any type, whether it be running a Theme Park (Rollercoaster Tycoon) or families (The Sims). Casino Inc is a bit crap, but I had fun with it for a while and it was really cheap so I'm not inclined to resell it. Railroads is awesome, I'm still looking to play Sim Park, think I'll need to build a XP box for that. Then we have Sim City 3k which I absolutely love. After that is my Small Sims 2 collection which was assembled completely from family member giving me their old crap . After that is technically Sims 2 but Life Stories is a standalone game and kind of a different approach, you're given two scenarios which two set people, I actually quite like it because it gives "quests" of sort which is something I really quite like and miss in the non "Stories" games. Then I my complete [but thats hardly difficult lol] Sims 1 collection. Then is my other games. Warcraft 3 and The Frozen Throne are awesome, my copy of The Frozen Throne is sealed, so I just torrented that game and cracked it instead of opening my copy. A few more sim games in the form of Theme Park World and Roller coaster Tycoon, I much prefer the latter over Theme Park World. The Guild 2 is kind of a wet fart in terms of hype and actuality. Sonic and Knuckles Collection is absolute crap, the music is remade and in Midi form so it's kind of shit as opposed to the real mega drive music. Lemmings isn't my type of game. Far Cry is my cousins original copy from years ago and still stands up quite well. I found Bioshock for really cheap and haven't played it fully yet, then dead rising which I had to crack to play despite owning it, [read up on that debacle here] Arkham Asylum is awesome and I'd love to play it again but I want to get a controller first. THUG 2 is kind of the same, then I have my copy of Final Fantasy XI which was a awesome MMO, not sure if its still up but my copy included two expansions too, and finally WoW's The Burning Crusade which is widely considered the best expansion pack ever released. After this is basically "everything else". It's not that the games aren't good, its just it isnt a complete stack. My disc only copies of Age of Empire 2, which I found in a old CD Drive, and then disc 1 of "6 great games for Windows 98". This is one of the few surviving games from my original collection, and the only reason I won't get rid of it is because it dates back to my first PC and us rushing out to Netto to grab some software and see what we could do with it. Warhammer 40k is an awesome RTS, Command and Conquer red alert is a classic and then Age of Empires 3 and the war chiefs expansion I haven't played yet. I also have a steam account with over 100 games but I imagine that isn't much fun to look at in a thread like this. I'm not really a collector that really must have the original release, hence me owning a few "BEST OF" releases, they were either free or really cheap, I'd always prefer to have the original but if it's just stupidly over priced as opposed to a best of release I wouldnt go out of my way to get it and would rather hold out for an excellent deal. Always interested in hearing about other peoples stories about how they came to own games I have, especially if they're intricate, or even recommendations for games I should buy.
