D pads so good you'd buy an adapter to use them on other consoles

I'm fine with my Swtich Pro Controller It works just fine but it's far from the best D-pad ever.

So I'm thinking of getting one of these https://www.amazon.com/Mayflash-MAG...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=JY4NJDXDWK8NCHYFHWKE to use other controllers on my Switch that have a tighter, mayber clickier......OK FiNE I'm heavily considering buying this to use XBOX One and 360 controllers on my Switch for it's Shmup Library and using my Qanba stick for fighters. (Undocked using a stand)

But I'm also looking a a mess of other controllers, Wii U pad for say playing DOOM? I want those 8bitdo controllers for the inevitable Virtual console.

Even Hori is putting out an undocked only D-pad attachment.

    So there are options.

Let us discussion. This isn't limited to switch either Mayflash and Brook have dongles for everything.

The wii u hori pokken pad has an good dpad. I use it for playing tetris on the switch.

I did look at the mayflash adapter for using my xbox one elite controller, let me know how it is if you buy one.

I was recently considering this adapter. I wanted the pro controller, but I can justify $80 on it. I was thinking of using a similar adapter so I could just use my ps4 controller, but I’m not so sure about $25 for an adapter either.

Here is a very good option if you’re looking for a pro controller. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B078...C_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=switch+controller

I have been thinking about getting this one. I’ve heard they’re good, and for $30 it cant be too bad at all.

I'd just pay for the proper one. I picked up one similar to that, with good reviews and it's no comparison.

    I now have 3x Pro controllers, 1x pokken, 1x 3rd party, 1x 8bitdo and 2x sets of joycons.

    Switch is expensive!

I don't think I'll buy another Pro Controller. But having an XBOX Controller for a 2nd player or something that needs more precision from the D-pad is a good option.

Apparently only bluetooth Xbone controllers will work with this adapter wirelessly. Is the Elite Controller bluetooth? I'd hate to get one only for it not to work and I don't have an XBOX nor really see the need so I'd have a really, really expensive controller, that doesn't work with anything.

I think Retrobit is doing Bluetooth Sega Controllers. Saturn pad on Swtich will be heaven.

Nah, have to use it wired. Which sucks, but I'm used to it from the pokken controller anyway.

The xenoblade Pro controller dpad is an improvement. But its still not brilliant.

There is some sort of brook adapter/battery pack coming that adds Bluetooth AND Motion to XBOX controllers.

Expensive, but that might be an option.
Say what you will about XBOX (I'm not a fan anymore) But Microsoft knows how to make a controller.

I'll have to see if the wireless 360 dongle work on the Mayflash Adapter too. The Morphing D-pad 360 controller is my go to for Shmups.

I don't think the usb wireless adapters work. I think I read that while researching it.

What would be the best bang/buck for a pc controller? XBOne? PS4? I want it to be wireless.

I'm willing to play some emulators and ROTTR mainly. I think I could pair up my Wiimote to use my Pro controller, but it seems like a ton of hassle for no real reason.
