Never seen them? I see commercials for them every 5 minutes, they work very well They should make GC sized ones too
They don't work so well on Xbox games. I've tried using them on DOAU and it loads really slow. The audio goes out of sync as well. I've also tried using them on Halo 2 and I had problems booting up the game. Then again, I have an Xbox v.1.0 but I've never had any problems with it before so... Use with caution.
never saw this before. that's very interesting! think i'll pick a bunch of those today. :smt045 :smt045
They're disc condoms. They clip onto the disc to prevent it from getting scratched, and the (insert system here) can read the disc with the thing on.
I haven't tried them yet. I might have to get some for my systems that scratch everything up (basically anything with a motorized disc tray). I'd still rather use backups (too many PC games to "skin"), but this seems like a nice alternative.
umm... is it me or the tone of thread is some what ...? skin, rubber, condom and etc... not that I mind though... heh cheers
:smt043 :smt043 hey, before we start can i add i have a little one? yes, not as large as the standard, it can contain less information. the protection will certainly not fit... Allright, Alright! i'll try it...hope it will work, otherwise i'll have to cut it. Damn game cube dvds! what? my mom said it when i was younger, ''every man just think about one thing!'' :smt082
Be weary about using these. We sell them at work (GameStop) and I actually tell people NOT to use them. We had a few demo ones at work and they actually SCRATCHED the discs. The scratches were very faint but they they covered the entire disc, so if you're anal about all of your stuff being mint, be careful.
