I keep a log on my Facebook-page Retro Gaming Denmark: https://www.facebook.com/retrogamingdenmark/ My collection is dynamic, and I tend to get rid of machines which I don't regularly use. (Example: I no longer own the Atari 600XL.) All machines are restored and maintained in working order. I mostly rely on modern sd-card interfaces, and try not to collect software. (Although I have 4 huge boxes of ZX Spectrum games and text adventures for various systems.) I don't collect boxes or manuals either, just the hardware. I do it as a hobby, and might play a game, do an update, or perform a restoration, almost daily. Not for long, perhaps 15-30 minutes a day. Greetings from Denmark! Nice to see someone else who is into computer collecting! Have you got any x86 DOS computers? How about 68k and PowerPC Macintosh?
Oh yes, I do. - Macintosh Classic. 2,5mb ram. 40mb hdd, System 6.0.8. It use it as decoration in the living room, so it is always out. - IBM Thinkpad, P4-Mobile, maxed out specs, Windows XP 32-bit. I mostly use it for Dosbox.. I don't consider it part of my collection. - As for PowerPC Macintosh, I do have two Imac G5's which I used in college, but I don't consider them part of my collection. Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128 K, 'toastrack'-model: Atari 520STFM with HxC floppy emulator: Macintosh Classic: IBM ThinkPad: Atari 1040STe, 1mb ram, VGA: Atari 130XE, SIO2SD, etc: Atari 800XL, SIO2SD, etc: Thomson MO5: Commodore 64, 'Aldi', 1541 Ultimate II, power saver, etc: A few of my ZX Spectrum units:
And a few more pics. I guess the rarest object in my collection is the Unicard interface for the Sharp MZ-800 (which provides VGA, SD-card, etc). You can't get that anywhere, even if you really wanted. Second 'rarest' might be my arabian MSX2, Yamaha AX350-II, which is somewhat uncommon, but CAN be hunted down. I don't go for rare though, I go for fun and games. Arabian MSX2, Yamaha AX350-II: I prefer the C64 'Aldi'-model, so I keep a spare in case of nuclear war: Custom C64c: A few of my Sinclair ZX Spectrums: A pimped out Commodore Amiga 600 with Furia 33Mhz 020 CPU, FPU. A604n 1mb chip ram expansion. 2mb chipram og 9.5 mb fastram total: Glow in the dark keyboard mat for my Sinclair ZX Spectrum: I also have a few consoles, but everyone has those, so they are not really interesting:
