I have a damaged dev disk. Was this title ever released. The disc isn't too bad is it worth trying to fix?
The only ntsc version to be released is the japanese version (known as Toshinden Subaru). If you have an english NTSC version that would be something cool to check out.
Is it corroded or it it scratched? If its just scratched then you could just get it polished up professionalll www.perfectplay.co.uk
And now a word from our sponsors. and now back to the show..... I have a JGJ disc repair machine. This is a damaged CDR which is bit different than a damaged CD. I have been able to take some damaged cds and make copies and the copies will play. I just wonder if its worth the effort. If the NTSC version is dumped I don;t think I'll screw with it.
There was a Battle Arena Toshinden 4?!?!?! Where have I been! :crying: Was it a release on the PS1 or PS2? *is too lazy to look up but probably will*
If i'm not mistaken it's the worst version of the series. Even worse than Toshinden URA. Anyway, could be interesting if it's a NTSC|U/C dev version, as the game was never released in US.
For me the 2nd one was the best, although the 3rd is cool too (although too many characters with similar moves).
Yes the second was the best I agree, I still remember the hot intro... by the way someone should transcode and upload it to youtube ;p Edit: I will actually do this right now Edit 2: I saw the video after about 10 years and now I think it's cheesy as hell in addition of having trouble to convert the .str video, so nevermind...
Since we are talking about Toshinden, does anyone have pictures / videos of early builds of Toshinden (the first one). I remember seeing on magazines that early screens were totally different than the final game.
slightly off topic, but was the intro to the original battle arena half cg and half live action, or am i thinking of a different game?
Buyatari: dump the game, since I would call the version you have obscure enough. SO there could be an intrest in it. Heck, release it
Ah, I loved BAT2.. It was the first title I purchased for my PSX back in the day. Actualy after watching a few matches on YouTube I don't remember it being so slow and crappy, I guess thats why its good that you just don't replay some of those older 'classics'. :020:
