Does anyone know if the people who received this game through the post, received a sealed copy? Was the game ever factory sealed? My feeling is that it wasn't however maybe someone knows better... Also I keep hearing of two different figures for the actual numbers produced.. one is 600 and one is 800. I guess only NEC Avenue themselves can confirm the true figure but which of those figures is more likely true?
I don't think it was sealed b/c if it was, a sealed copy would surely pop up on yahoo or in a game shop from time to time.
Not sealed. And 1000 copies. 900 originally, with another 100 given out at shows. (I believe anyway..not 600 or 800...most people think 900 I thought) Guess we'll never know for certain!
yeah..nod sealed and according yuki's hibaihin-page there where a total of 1000 pcs. given away. 800 for the darius plus / super darius raffle participants, which over 8 weeks, every week 100pcs. wherer given out. the rest was given out to magazines. http://www.geocities.co.jp/HeartLand-Suzuran/9038/pce_nfs.html there is also written, that they prepared 100pcs for a similar campain when super darius 2 where released. but due to delay of the release, they dropped this action.
I noticed that aswell - it's the second time he has done this - I think what he his doing is testing the market to make a quick buck... i.e. is it worth me buying it from YA and selling it on. Cheers for the info guys... does anyone know what the glasses were used for?
The game was delivered in sealed condition. 1000% sure. But in the end: who cares? ;-) I cannot imagine some Japanese Darius freak keeping it in this condition. I'm pretty sure all have been opened over the course of time....
I doubt it.§If it was indeed factory sealed,then a factory sealed copy exist somewhere. But i have yet to be proven it was ever sealed.
