It will be announced, and 3 months later Capcom will declare that not enough people showed up to that specific panel at that specific Comic Con with $10/$20 bills on hand to show Ono, and therefore it must be cancelled.
We might as well just start making the capcom games we want to come back ourselves. Like my poor attempt with our own Mega Man 9
So, the 600+ page thread full of people asking for a sequel or HD remix on Capcom Unity was too subtle for them?
If Capcom can release an updated version every 8 months, plus DLC of characters and clothing packs, they'll make it for sure.
Marvel vs Capcom 3 is shit, I can't imagine for the life of me that a Darkstalkers game would be any different.
I dunno so much, but I really don't like the button set-up. I like a punch to be a punch and a kick to be a kick, the system they've gone for where you strike with a punch or kick depending on the D-pad or stick input for me is a step backwards. It's probably there just to make it 'pick up and play' for non fighting game officianado's but a proper set-up for pro's would have been nice.
Yeah, I played the Japanese version when it first came out on the Wii and that was another game I wasn't overly impressed with, but to be honest the classic pad isn't ideal for fighting games as I find it a bit on the small side and the GC pad is an abomination.
I'd rather they just release Vampire Chronicle on PSN/Live. A new game would be great, but it's not going to be hi-res 2D awesomeness like BlazBlue, they'll just use the SF4 engine.
They could celshade like the Naruto games and it would look amazing assuming Capcom gives 2 shits which they don't
I take this whole thing as nothing more then Ono wants to make but capcom keeps saying no. So he is trying to get the user base hyped up to force capcom to let him make a new game. They also happen to be the same developer (but i'm sure you knew that). So any similarities is not all that surprising. =P
