I'm just looking to get all the different software version of the games.
So I'm not into the console bundle or box variation collecting.

It's interesting for sure but I have to put the line somewhere so I don't waste too much money ;), also those bundle take too much space to store.

For sure! Will get Link's Awakening 3D on 3DS Virtual Console too!!

Wow-wee I'm feeling your Zelda collection you must've spent a fortune!

I'm liking the gold cartridges and I love the way you've preseved the boxes.

    Yay new stuff!!

Back in February I've won the card set of A Link to the Past for the Barcode Battler II.

The BBII is a little LCD system which let you play role playing game by swapping card with barcode on it.

To my surprise it was still sealed!! Till today... ;)

Anyone know if the US Barcode Battler work with japanese card? I need one to try out!

Some pics and 1st post updated btw.

Those are cool :) I may be wrong, but I think DarthCloud mostly collects game releases rather than bundles and other merchandise.

Long time without update but in fact I've got a lot of new item since last spring!!

I updated the first post btw ;)

I've got several release from Asia.

Let begin by my loose Zelda 1 Korean version. I always wondered if Korea had a special lockout chip. It's not the case! Instead it's a special mix of existing chip. They put the PAL-A lockout chip (3195A) with a standard NTSC-U ROM (NES-ZL-1 PRG)

I also got both Zelda 1 & 2 Asian version. They are the same as the Hong-Kong version. Only label variation. They use the same lockout chip as the HK version (3196A) and use PAL ROMs.

I also found loose the HK release of the original Link's Awakening. The game contain Japanese ROM v1.2. Weird because all other "Asian" release use US ROMs.

This summer I also found a loose copy of Zelda: alttp for Super Comboy. The game has standard Japanese cartridge form factor but use the US ROM. Big thanks to Pikkon for helping me on getting this one!

I also got a 3DS so I got Zelda OOT 3D :D. I really liked the graphic update with 3D and the game is still good as the orginal :D. Only that motion sensor aiming system that suck but at least you can switch it off! I also got Link's Awakening DX on the virtual console. It was a long time since I last played that game. Still good as I remembered!

I also received my promo OOT soundtrack :D

Last week, I also got the German version of Zelda DX. But not as good looking I as I expected :(. Ebay pictures suck.

Last thing I've buy the Darunia statue from F4F got #40. Probably their best looking statue so far!!

I know this may sound funny and difficult to answer but I must ask you this: what's the value of all this, I mean EVERYTHING? I don't collect zelda stuff but I know how crazy expensive some items can be...

Hard to say, I started collecting Zelda games about 12 years ago. Since that I've most been spend near 10K$. But my collection probably as a value lower than this. Since I'm getting most game upon release I pay the full price most of the time for the same game in all region. And since they are normal release they decrease in value over time. Also good amount of money go into shipping the stuff!

That copy of A Link To The Past for the super comboy is nice and rare to have.

Now you need to hunt down a CIB one:thumbsup:
