Also... Pit what exactly do you do for work? How can you possibly have that much extra cash to blow on Zelda gear? Granted I would do the same if I could.

 

No list of my zelda stuff sorry , maybe i'll do one later.
For VinnyC i start my collection 10 years ago, that why i have so many things now and don't spend too much money for each piece. for example except 1 or 2 i never put more than 100$ in any of my zelda new and sealed game , my first majora adventure set i had it for 80 euros as my zelda 2 in blister pack .... the gba sp miyamoto i trade it for around 400 euros of MGS stuff all of this stuff cost 4 time more now .

My job is baker but is not this that make my collection, you have just to be on the good auction at the good time.

 

, I will not try to get as much stuff as pit56 have, I'm actually trying to stop collecting stuff, lol, so once once I will got all pal games I'm going to stop that collection here and I will be only getting the new games that got released.

I'm actually going through my whole video games collection to see what I should get rid off. It think that I will sell all my Atari 2600/7800 stuff and all games that aren't published by Nintendo to start with...

 

Well, if you decide to sell any CDI stuff (test discs, demos) let me know. Also, if you wanted to get rid of that yellow zelda test cartridge, I would be happy to help

Btw I don't own any CDI related stuff with the exception of the three CDI games

 

Alright, so which one of you jerks is bidding on the yellow zelda test cartridge on ebay. Give me a chance to own just one already!!

 

This auction will probably reach something near 400$ since the cart is relatively in good condition. Both NES & Zelda collectors want that game

But tbh the price should drop it's like the fifth one in five month....
Uncommon but not rare IMO..

Anyway I'm not on this one, btw no serious collector are bidding that early on an auction, rather snipe it at the end

 

Big find this weekend

I finally found the mythical Québec french release of the original Link's Awekening. I say mythical cause lot of my friend said me that I was missing this one for years but none of them could give me proof that this version actually existed. It's was always like "I saw one some day".

I've made lot of research online without finding any clue that this version existed. So I tough that it was probably at best just an imported copy of the french release.

I'm also pretty sure that the game contain an unique ROM not same as the french one since the ROM label is DMG-ZCF-0.

French one should be DMG-ZLF-0 but I don't have one so I can't confirm that it's a new rom for sure. I don't see mention of Québec or "French Canadian" version in goodgbx 1.14 however.

Anyone with a french copy of original Link's Awakening which have a gamebit could look at the rom label to confirm me that?

Anyway, I'm going to try to get a french copy so I can look my self eventually.

Once I get confirmation I going to build a gb rom dumper .

Btw if you could take a part a standard English European version of LA too. I'm not sure if rom label is a good indication of what the rom contain.

I figured I should ask.. neither of you (darth or pit) have the 24k gold plated gba do you? Does anybody know anyone who does have it? I just haven't heard a thing about them other than "seven were given away". No one has any pictures of them or anything.

i never see it ,or someone telling he have one nor someone know someone have it .... it's a real mystery , of course with a so limited piece we know that we won't see it on ebay every month but it's just like they never exist

 

I finally got an interesting "Not for Resale" demo. The Wii Zelda Twilight Princess one .

The demo include two level, a dungeon and the fishing "mini game".

Game code is RVL-DZDE-USA

Unlike the full version, the game is in 16/9 aspect ratio only (even if you have 4/3 selected in Wii config menu)

Also home, power button on remote and the console power button are disabled. You have to make a hard shutdown to quit the demo.
