Nintendo Famicom DataShip1200 Ok, so we've all seen ASSEMblers rather excellent page on the Famicom Network Stock Trading System What I didn't know was that there was a version of the Famicom released with that modem built-in: I also came across this. Not sure if this is related? But the DS1200 uses cards, so does this. Anyhow, never seen this, and if you Google for the DS1200 there's about 4 results with hardly any info. One of those is a French forum where I pinched the top piccie from. Anyone seen/got one of these?
Indeed. WTF is going on with that? But what's the deal with these games on cards? The DS1200 certainly has no cart socket. So, anyone ever seen anyother Famicom games on these Hu-style cards? I'm assuming the card in the top pic is the banking software, and the site with the bizarre PCE looking unit has a pic of a Popeye card.
