UK version. Hardware is based on PAR2. I can't write a review because I didn't test the emulator with a retail game, but I've read here and there that it's junk.
Included in the archive : Scans of the box, the instruction manual, the warranty card, the PCB, the device, screenshots, EEPROM dump and a hacked PS-X EXE so you can play "ReBound Mission" without the Game Booster cartridge.
IIRC, EMS made a clone of this thing, called "GB Hunter".

Well I'm definately not an electronic parts specialist, but on Action Replay devices the PALCE chip relates to the PC-Comm I/O communication protocol (the DB-25 to ISA COM Card thing). So I guess it concerns the Game Boy cartridge slot I/O operations.

Here are dirty scans of an Action Replay 2 PCB (originally a French Action Replay v2.6) :

    Parts are :
    74HC245A

    PALCE 20V8H-25JC/4

    SST 29EE020

EDIT : LOL, I did open my Action Replay 3.2 and now I've some more doubt...

    Use a Lattice GAL20V8B instead of a PALCE 20V8H.

    Above TC551001 is RAM
rest is or PAL/GAL or TTL logic. so still i wonder what the GAL's are doing, some data/adress expansion? I forgot to research how wide the PIO bus is, maybe the adress space of the SST rom chips is wider than the normal PIO can adress. then some "bank" switching is used. for the LPT connector some ram and logic ic is very normal, not to hard to understand. maybe the PAL/GAL is also or primairely used to switch between the COmms and ROM(eproms/sst/29LFxx)
