    Hi,
I'vew just repaired my DC and i whanted to take a look at Hombrew games . For what i understand , to make (insert a name of a dc Hombrew game here) work on my Dc is:

    -The game (duh...)
    -A blank CD-R, A CD-R burner, And a cd burner program (i use Alchool 120%)
-A dummy file that is relative with the space that take the game on a cd
    - A loader if i whant to burn multiple games on a cd

    is it correct?

anyway, now i whant to know how to:

    1. Make the dummy file apear on the start of the cd
    2. Know how a loader work and how i can organize my cd to make everything work fine.
    3. Wich Type of files should be used ( i think .sbi files are for the programs (booter) , am i right?

    thx.

If you go onto www.dcemulation.com they have most of the homebrew games in selfbooting .cdi format.

    ?

Try to convert it to the nero format and then burn it, all of my 3 cd burners weren't compatible with discjuggler so I always had to convert all things to the nrg-format

Go for nero and try it.

its 1.30 in the morning, i hope i get it all together.

If you have the image in a cdi format, then convert it to the nero format. Fuck the dummy file, you don't need that. Its just to complicated.

    http://www.dcemulation.com/files/needed/cdi2nero099.zip

get that and convert the cdi image file.

In want format did you get the game? Is it already the cdi format or just the plain files?

If you don't have the image file check this out:

    GOOD LUCK this time

I'll check on you tomorrow morning :smt023

    good night

    hey

yeah its self-bootable. It has a real nice menue and looks cool.

I converted it to the nero image and it worked perfectly.
