I've got footage of the Dreamcast version of Innocent Tears (action RPG) but come to think of it I've never actually seen this game in the shops. I know that there is an XBOX version but not a Dreamcast version. Can anyone confirm if this was released or not. If not I'll release a video of the Dreamcast version. Yakumo
Global A only released the rather poor Fighter of Zero on the DC. Innocent Tears only has a Xbox page for it on their lovely website. http://www.gae.co.jp/game/innocent/index.html Weird they didn't do a DC release would have sold more as it appeals to the 2nd side of DC gamers. It has maids and catgirls in it, so must be good.
never heard of it. Was it only a NTSC-J release on the Xbox? I love the box to death for what it can do but theres not many RPGs on the thing. Might be worth it to track a copy down.
Thanks for the link, Jamtex. Yeah, very very odd that they diodn't release it on the Dreamcast. It's not as if it would undersell the Xbox version ! Very odd indeed. Ok, looks like the DC version never did get released so I'll sort out that video clip. @Micjohvan, yeah this was a Japanese only title. Looks pretty cool as well concidering it was from Global A.
Well to bad the game was canceled. You can see a list here of canned DC games here. http://www.pinqu.net/Dreamcast/Dreamcast.htm
looks like it could have been pretty decent. I'm still trying to figure out why the hell they released it on the XBOX over the Dreamcast when anyone with half a brain knew they could sell 5x more on the Dreamcast. Smells like a big wad of cash from Microsoft if you ask me. Otherwise it just doesn't make sense even from a business point of view. Yakumo
I remember seeing this game in some of the commercial papers (dream-something) you got when you bought a DC game. Looked nice and at first I didn't know that it was canned and looked everywhere for it, as you may have guessed I didn't.
