indeed , that's cool , but im not surpised by this ; the ps2-on-a-chip already exist. (don't know if the dc is more complexe than the ps2 ...but the ps2 is more powerfull)
well, they already made the game gear and the nomad, you know? :-D anyway, the psp will be a good power consummer too. (maybe not as many as a dc handheld could , but...
Someone needs to hurry up and invent a real "Mr.Fusion" ,lol. Sony should start work on it now for the PSP2 :-D
"Mr. Fusion" already exists. We pay for batteries, gas and electricity to keep the economy of the rich going. No corporate bigwig really wants you or I to have "Mr. Fusion"
indeed , and that's the cool part. :smt033 i just want sega in the project....as well as snk playmore. :-D btw, what's mister fussion?
Answer to why not... well nomad and gg may be power hungry, but that's their backlight in the main. LCD technology has come a long way, and runs for longer off a lower charge nowadays. However, the big thing to remember is those are cart machines, as are all handhelds. Dreamcast is a CD machine, you need an ugly great CD player, which takes a lot of power. Also, to be a true portable dreamcast, it must be a GD-ROM, and I don't see anyone making a custom portable-sized GD-ROM drive.
Yes, it would indeed be cool, and after all there was the Multi-Mega / CD-X, although like I say the GD-ROM is the problem. Mr Fusion was the unit added to the back of the DeLorean at the end of Back To The Future, when the Doc went into the future, to make energy out of trash.
ahhh..!! why didn't i know this? back to the future.... such a great movie! and what does it do in the real life?
cant really remember if it was a mixer or a coffee machine i found a site that says Krups 'Coffina' Coffee Grinder Model 223-A -- A.K.A. Mr. Fusion =)
