does anyone know what's the difference between Sonic Adventure (JP) and Sonic Adventure International (JP)?

Below are the picture of both titles.

ok. I did bit of checking and it looks like Sonic Adventure International is the version released to commemorate the launch of Dreamcast in US and comes with five language options? Also the voice can be toggled between Japanese and English. Is there any other difference? Also is this title region coded for world?

I know some of Xbox titles - especially Ubisoft - are coded as RE0 so UK title can run on US Xbox and vice versa. Was told by a mate at Ubisoft and tested Rainbow Six on my PAL and US Xbox.

    cheers

International edition is pretty much identical to the US and PAL versions, except it comes in JP casing and JP region coding.

As for Xbox, most XBL games arn't region coded.

    .

    thanks!

it comes handy so I don't have to import US XLIVE titles to play on my US Xbox. Instead I can pick up PAL copy and play on US Xbox for XLIVE...

    cheers

Just remember to check with others or rent before buying a game first, as a minority of devs do occasionally place region locks on their games.

i usually pick up 2nd copy at my local EB and if it's region coded I got it exchanged or refunded so it's no big deal.

    cheers

one more thing I noticed is ith SA Int you can download mini game called "Chao Adventure" to the VMU.
Is this also applied to normal Sonic Adventure?

    cheers

    Re: .

Yes that game is also in the pal version of sonic adventure.
Basicly SA:international is just the pal SA with japanese region and casing/manual.

I've never played the PAL Sonic Adventure but I do own the International version. It seems to be the same as the first DC game but with a few bug fixes here and there plus the ability to have English or Japanese text and speech. Goes without saying that I play it with Japanese speech and English text :butthead:

    .

according to friend of mine Ubisoft titles are generally RE0 and few others. But don't think Murakumo is one of them. It's ok game but flawed control IMHO... I tried both JPN and US and the control is exactly same - flawed... still looks pretty on 42" plasma screen.

Think there was list I posted GameFaq few months back... see if I can dig that up...

    cheers
