Anyone seen this movie yet?? I just got done watching it. Holy crap it's awesome!

Picture this:

A guy head-butting a Nazi zombie while hanging off a cliff by the intestines of a Nazi zombie he killed only moments before.

I highly recommend it. Best zombie movie I've seen since 'Shaun of the Dead' (haven't seen 'Zombieland' yet...)

I keep meaning to watch this myself. I will make an effort with it this weekend.

Is it sub-titled? I think that why I haven't watched it.

 

Yeah, it's subtitled. It's Norwegian I believe. It's NOT really dialogue heavy. You could watch it without reading a single subtitle and still have a blast.

It will never get a Japanese release on the cinema or DVd so I'll have to go the bad rout. Hopping to watch this tonight. I love a good zombie film.

 

My guess is that most German's would rather the rest of the World stopped banging on about the Nazis, but clearly something has sparked an interest in Nazi Zombie films. Almost a genre of it's own now.

Judging from the trailer (which I watched last night) it's not going to challenge anyone in terms of dialogue.

You can do good storys with that material

I consider "Nazis" not as germans anyway. Nazis are Nazis and most of the german Soldiers in WW2 where no Nazis anyway, they where soldiers who followed orders like soldiers do in other Countries.
Of course there where many Soldiers with a sick mind...

Whatever nazis did was bad or not (and certainly not all was bad, without ww2 we wouldnt be where we are today.) they where germans and fighting for their fatherland. Whatver you fight for dosnt matter as long as you feel like you are doing the right thing, for your country. How can you blame a person that gets dragged and has to fight anyway, since most GOT dragged. My mothers father was almost forced to fight around 45 but his family hid him in their attic. Now is he a bad person?

Or how about my mothers-mothers side. There we find an SS officer. Is my family now bad? Was he bad? Certainly not, after the war he had a high paying position at the customs.

Same with England and Russia, they where fighting because most got dragged and had to, and did it for their country. Also raped a shitload of women and killed babys :clap:

Im really sick of bashing onto nazis, they did what they thought was the right thing. It wasnt, but it advanced humanity and another advancement that was so rapid and memorable is overdue since over 50 years.



Also zombie nazis suck. How long can you ride that old horse, till it collapses? Zombie's where already on the verge of getting annoying and now all they did was slapping the fact they where nazis on them. Jesus christ we live in such a stupid ignorant world these days.

The only "good" the Nazis did consisted of things they could use later to do "bad". Highways to improve the infrastructure for militaries. Kraft durch Freude to improve the moral of soldiers. Impressive architecture and events to exclude unworthy life from society and strengthen hate for them. Supporting the working class to produce happy soldiers. You could add several other examples.

That's exactly what went wrong at this time after the war.
Your wonderful SS officer was a) an asshole, b) dumb or c) both - grant me the liberty to say it that drasticly. The SS was an elite that had to be joined voluntarily if people agreed on such antisemitic thesis or just liked to use their power against people. Excluding the Waffen-SS (Weapon-SS) the regular SS (but the black SS, mind you) is like the worst that the Nazis ever produced. SS still stands for power, oppression and violence. I don't know what your relative exactly did and why, but in order to raise to the rang of an officer one had to be supportive at the least and that's something I will never tolerate.
Some bright people recognized the crucial reality of the Nazis way earlier and emigrated as soon as possible (if possible), Germany lost thousands of members of the intellectual and cultural elite in 1933.
That said it's a shame that a lot of ex-Nazis were reemployed by the government after the war, even as police officers. My grandfather's brother was in the SS as well and if he'd still live, I would'n mind blaming him at all for his stupidity and lack of criticism.

Well, who started it all I ask? We had a contract of peace with Russia but Hitler broke it. Germany invaded half Europe, leaving behind destruction, violence and humiliation. You can blame Stalin for the communisn as it cost the lives of even more people than the Nazi regime did, but you can't blame England or Russia for fighting. Germany started the war, German soldiers raped their women and killed their kids. What were they supposed to do? When the Sowjets entered Germany they were seeking for revenge and that's exactly what they achieved. It was a gruesome time and one party was more cruel than the other, but Germany was the initiator and some people seem to forget this.

I don't really get what you want to say. Nazism advanced humanity like taking a crap backwards: It didn't feel satisfying before, but afterwards it's just painful SHITE

I might give it a shot. Doesn't look too bad actually... for a movie like this. I don't have a problem with the Nazis in it btw. Their uniform style was unique in history, black shiny coats with black shiny boots and sharp-edged symbols everywhere. No wonder film makers like to use it for the sake of scaring or awing the viewer.
