There's this Ocean racing game intended for Sega Saturn and PlayStation I would like to identify. It was called Death Race, and it was advertised along with other Ocean projects such as Silver and Hanna Barbera. We all know Silver turned out into a PC game which was ported to Dreamcast afterwards. And it seems the Hanna Barbera game was completely canned. But I would like to make sure what exactly happened with Death Race. Was it cancelled? Or was it reconverted into other game? In fact, is there any chance it could have turned into this game? See if anyone has any source on this.
No chance IMO. The game was supposed to be a futuristic racer with 3d graphic. I've got a scan about it with images but sadly they are taken from a FMV. The Hanna & Barbera p&c adventure ,codenamed "Pandemonium": http://www.unseen64.net/2010/03/23/zoiks-pc-cancelled/ Other canned Ocean games around those years were HMS Carnage and Mission Impossible ( Snes version ): http://www.unseen64.net/2008/07/09/dreadnaughts-psxsaturn-cancelled/ http://www.unseen64.net/2008/09/30/mission-impossible-snes-concept-cancelled/ I've got actually some "new" images about MI for Snes ( and a MD version was planned too ).
