I have already started my search for a JP Xbox 360 - Deathsmiles, Ketsui, DDP DOJ BL.... I will be buying another 360 solely for shoot em ups, since it is unlikely these games will be region free...also gonna have to get an arcade stick....

Seriously, the Japanese 360 is (oddly enough) quickly becoming the best console this gen. :love:

Why is the green and red girl censored?

 

Looks like whoever scanned it wanted the picture to not get censored in Arab states/wherever he/she lives.

They have censored boobs and a christian cross. First time I have seen this in a scan! Anyhoo I had to cover up my cross when I was in the Maldives (Muslim state). Interesting.

But yeah, as long as they include lots of graphics options in this port (like gunstar heroes ps2 - the king of ports!) I will be happy. Far too easy game, hope they include a black label mode which can kick my ass!

 

I have a spin off of this game on my phone. Pretty cool but the arcade is way better. Played it a lot early on in the year when it was new.

The graphics are nice, and the artstyle looks cool, but whats with the trend in a lot of Japanese games where the protagonists look like porcelain dolls?

I don't want to rag on anyone but I can't help but think anyone who would play this would be...fruity or (and I might sound like a jerk for saying this, but) a wapanese person...

Only more thing one could cry for is a port of DDP Daifukkatsu. Although not as good as its predecessor (imo), it'd be the last Cave masterpiece to be needed in the X360 lineup. Well, Mushihimesama Futari is missing, too

I think someone has an obsession with rejecting things they once adored...:110: I'm pretty sure you own tons and tons of japanese style RPG's and such. You really seem to hate them now.

 

Well, not necessarily. I've never really liked the anime doll girl trend. Its the same with anime, I don't see how a guy could like watching Lucky Star or Chobits. I saw an TV ad for Chobits in a store and holy hell it was so annoying.

I think the only game I own that I'd consider close to the anime girl doll sim would be Odin Sphere, but it at least is fun and pretty deep on the Norse Mythology, which I always like.

I did have an obsession with buying everything with an anime cover on it, though. Not anymore. Well, a lot of those games were from NIS, but I've already talked too much about them.

I think the only JRPG I really regret buying was FFX-2. In fact, I think I only bought it just to have it in my collection. I think thats the only game I own that I bought "Just to have".

Anyways, this cutesy anime girl stuff just isn't for me. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks the same way, to be honest. Hasn't this type of thing been done to death over there already?

 

I didn't necessarily mean the anime girl thing. You just seem to mention your dislike for anime/japan stuff a lot lately, which I thought was strange. I have to agree though.

Too bad I don't have a Japanese 360, this looks like it might be fun, goofy or not. Why the hell can't these shooters and stuff go here, or through XBLA?
