Hi guys. Until now i was a very happy ( Decr 1000a) owner. Installed REBUG CFW on it and everything worked like a charm. Sudenly yesterday i noticed that when turning the unit on the drive woudnt init correctly. The eject blue light was always flashing. What have i done until now in order to try to solve this? I opened the unit and swapped the controller board with another ps3 working drive and still the same problem. I also unpluged and reinserted a few flat ribbon cables and also power cables like the one that controls the fan under the bd drive and the unit only worked twice but each time i turned the unit off... Bam blue eject light again. Now i didnt succeed in making it work for the third time... The main problem is that i cant get my games and stuff to run, since they require bd emulation and i dont know what to do. Of course would like to recover my Decr 1000 of those BD Drive problems, but i wonder if there is any other alternative in order i can still use the unit ( ie webman, multiman, and other managers) applying some sort of bd emulation? I only can run a few homebrew stuff by now but havent suceeded to run any games after this. Both of the times that i had managed to stop the eject problem i unplugged and plugged back the cable that powers the fan under bd drive and by then Blue ray disc games and bd emu worked again until i turned the unit off.) Im inclined to think that it must have something to do with this particular cable but how? Is there anything i can do to use the unit without this limitation? I intend to tear the unit apart to investigate and to fix but not now. I dont have time for that (or even space) my wife would kill me... Im going to move to another house (with a garage were finally i can tear everything apart without running away from my wife. I think you all understand me right? All right guys.... Any sugestion? Or meanwhile option to continue to use this unit? Also have you experienced something similar with your units? I guess these tools were cursed from what i read in here... Damn... ts frustrating i had a fully working REBUG cfw unit for weeks... Thank you for reading me... and please givme all your cents.
Sorry for bumping... Forgot to tell you that while with this eject problem the bd drive doesnt pick up any discs... What a tool am i...
Well i solved it.I came to find t was another cable with very thin wires that goes from the main board to the logic board near the fan under BD drive for future reference. Case solved. Now everythings fine now. Time mount this mess again or else... My wife wil kill me upon arrival...
