DECR-1000A / PS3 TEST - How to look in/extract HD content from a PC?

Hi Guys,

I've a friend who has a bunch of DECR-1000A and PS 3 Test hardwares. They are coming from CodeMasters and EA.

I've no experience with PS 3 dev hardware (only with Xbox xdk) and before they are going to be dispatched in the wild we would like to check the content of their hardisks and extract any interesting files we could find (unreleased stuffs, debug versions...).

Can someone let me know how to check HD content and extract it from a PC ?

target manager would be the way to go here

 

Also if you don't see anything in the XMB, booting into Safe Mode and choosing Rebuild Database may fix some data and cause it to show again in the XMB.

 

You could try a raw data dump and see what has been extracted with an hex editor.

We checked content on each DECR last weekend and unfortunately the HDs were wiped

 

Contact aerosoul94 because he has knowledge in what you're wanting to do and just because an hdd is wiped doesnt mean the data is gone.
