If Sony built up an empire, it's still kinda there, but at about 1/3 occupancy of it's peak during the PS2 years.

Soviet, if you like Saturn and Dreamcast, you're going to have to credit the philosophy, design, and games of the era as Sega's response to Sony's successful entry into the market. Dreamcast was very high quality, but only because they wanted to compete with PS1/N64 and eventually PS2. They're just businesses that compete with each other.

 

Eh, With the whole industry going to shit. Sony's Exclusives may be the only decent thing left in gaming now.

I doubt that'll be a deciding factor personally. For me, I hope it's prohibitively priced again and that results in Sony's downfall. But unfortunately, I kind of doubt Sony and the Playstation brand are going away.

 

So I'm no one? It's the first different but Same Sony controller. Sony used the same design for like ever. 19 years now. (20 years of {Playstation next year hmmm)
I'm buying a PS4 eventually But like other Sony hardware it's going to need time to Mature.

Also, it seems he's suggesting that Sega is going to announce a new console that will blow away the competition. Interesting move, since Sega is currently developing games for the PS4.
