    Hi Folks,

I just bought a GBA SP AGS-101 (Brighter) and I noticed there is no dead/stuck pixel on screen. The colors appears to be ok but black color shows up as orange/brown color. Any chance to solve this without a screen replacement? Thanks in Advance.

I have seen that on some game gears when the LCD seal leaks. The LCD is shot

Any chance to fix with some workaround? Can be "sealed" again?

The problem is that some of the LCD fluid is gone, it is similar to the black blotches on some old game boys. Unfortunately the 101 LCD is much thinner than the older ones and is more fragile.

Out of curiosity, does this happen on its own or is it related to physical strain on the LCD?

Thermal strain is probably the most common cause. Like inside a 140 degree car or in direct sunlight. I have seen many cracked screens so I can't rule out other stresses though
