I just turned on the TV and came across "Tokyo Friend Park 2". Nothing special but they were just playing the bike racing/delivery game that I heard is "Delisoba Deluxe". They called it "Delisoba Gold" in the show. The graphics definitely looked very much like Saturn. Needless to say that I was really surprised to see a game on 14-year old hardware still being used in the show (unless it was emulated but anyway...)! I don't usually watch the show so I have no idea if that was a special or not.
That's a Playstation game. You can tell by how bendy the polygons are. Saturn polygons don't suffer as bad as Playstation ones in the bendy department. Yakumo
So they ditched the game in favor of a PS version. Why? And is it regularly used in the show now? Is it the same game anyway (content-wise)?
I guess it was Sony who was involved in some way. Still, the PlayStation was very popular until a few years back so I guess that could be the main reason. I don't watch Tokyo Friend Park to be honest but I do see it from time to time and each time they do have that game. Yakumo
