There are various models of this joystick for the Famicom, MSX/FM Towns/Etc, Megadrive and PC Engine. They feature a 4 and 8 way toggle, which you press down a circular panel around the joystick and rotate. It consists of a circular piece of plastic, a circular dust cover, two pieces of plastic and a spring. I had to replace a microswitch on the joystick (an XE-1 ST2) and I am sure I put it back correctly, but I can't rotate it or get the joystick to move anyone have an photos of how the pastic bits are meant to go back in?
