My first major concert and my first time seeing Depeche Mode live. It was awesome. Out of 200pix+video, here are 40 good ones lol http://img188.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=img0284df.jpg
Is that Bank Atlantic Center? EDIT: Haha, nevermind, I just looked it up. I've only been to some smaller venues around here, never a big show. Looks like you had a great view though.
Depeche Mode is going to play for two small audiences (4500 people) in Horsens next year, and thank goodness I am not going to be there. I am not fond of intimate concerts at all. But when they play at big concerts, then it is awesome. My first concert with them was back in 1998 but the BEST concert was in 2001 in Parken, and damn that was a BLAST.
Are you sarcastic again ? Anyway about why I am not happy about the concerts in Horsens are simply this to me Horsens is a hillbilly/redneck town, where every body knows every body. And 4500 people equals 50 % increase of the population in two days (well in reality there lives 52.518 in Horsens) But Jutland and me are just not mates at all. If any one wants to know about my past concert experience in Jutland then search for the word Aarhus/Ã…rhus in the Off Topic perhaps you could throw in the wildcard Depeche Mode in the search too. Since concerts in Jutland to me = no way Sir , you got to be kidding !
Okay, another thing is. I am claustrophobic. So it is not just as fun, in comparison to Parken, even though we were over 40.000 then we still had enough space to be where we were the first time (in 2001) the second time (2006) Which was in February, and I still remember Dave saying/shouting "Good evening Copen*fuck* it is cold" he never finished saying Copenhagen. Then there was Ã…rhus/Aarhus which was on the 20. of May, and well that concert was a sad mix of bad stuff. Then there was the third time where the weather was hot bigtime on the 30. of June this year which is 2009 so Parken is not as claustrophobic like small venues. But David Gahan in KB Hallen was awesome.
I can appreciate the claustrophobic aspect, but unless I have fantastic tickets, 40,000+ people means I'm most likely not going to see shit.
