When browsing Sega Saturn pictures with google, i noticed a skeleton Saturn without the "This is Cool" logo. I quickly learned this being the Derby Stallion version of the Saturn, but i can't decide if the color of the consoles are different.

Does anyone have a picture with both consoles next to eachother, with extra good lighting?

The Derby Stallion one is slightly green, while the Skeleton Saturn is more black/dark grey-ish.

That's right. Basically they are prety much the same due to the colour difference being hard to spot. I have no idea why the Derby Stalion one fetches so much money. The extra stuff included isn't all the special and the game isn't very good.

Yeah it's a bluey green tint. Got myself a This is Cool recently and it's simply gorgeous.

How much is a good price to pay for either boxed?

I paid £125 for my This is Cool, in rather good condition with all inserts unopened. Console mint etc. Also came with a boxed This is Cool pad and a stepdown.

I've seen Derby Stallion on eBay for a ton of money though. Weird.

I've seen them before. The Sega version comes with VF2 if I remember rightly. It was a Christmas campaign. Same style box too.

I like my original Japanese grey Saturn. You don't see too many grey electronics (not that shade, anyway). It was only $20, if I remember correctly. Of course, it had a faulty drive, but that was easily fixed by replacing it with one from an American Saturn.

I got a CIB Derby Stallion locally a while back for a lil under 200. I use a This Is Cool as my main gaming Saturn though. The Derby Stallion definitely has a bit more color to it. I'll take comparison photos if noone else does whenever I get over to my storage

Since i really like translucent console casings, i decided to buy the Derby Stallion version. It has a slightly more greenish color, or it is just more translucent than the This is Cool version (hard to decide). Most noticable for me is the fact that the controller is exactly the same color as the This is Cool model, so it does not exactly match the Stallion console.

First i thought someone just included a coolpad with this Stallion saturn, but then i noticed all the coolpads have grey colored wires and this pad has a black wire, just like the pack-in pad of the This is Cool model.

Anyone who wants to check the color of his/her Stallion pack-in pad, to see if it matches the console?
