So i was taking apart a game cube when I accidentally detached the red and brown wires that (I believe) connects the motor for the disc drive. Before I messed with it, I wanted to ask, can I simply solder them back where they were? Sorry, I'm still learning, and soldering is a skill in still developing.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes you can, but I would look for pics on google of drive just so you don't solder to the wrong areas.

As takeshi stated, yes you can. If your soldering isn't that great I highly recommend practicing soldering a few wires together or solder to a dead board before practicing on a precious Gamecube. Flux is your friend. It shouldn't be too difficult of a task to be honest. Look up some Youtube videos if you need help as well.

Those wires are very cheap. Mine broke as well. Just twisted them where they used to be. No problems at all.
