I have put this in the ebay links thread but thought it would be good to put in here too incase anyone was interested.

    Dreamcast Dev Kit

Someone really needs to get on this!

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2610679113...#ht_500wt_1147

I have sent the seller some questions about the HDD but he has not answered yet. Could be some unreleased stuff on there. Japanese developer stuff maybe?

seller has sold Dreamcast Dev stuff (GD writer, SDK, Dev Kit) before years ago so he seems legitimate.

Its in Japan I have a friend in Osaka at the moment but cannot afford it at this price. If interested it is also on yahoo auctions japan cheaper at 30000 yen which is about £250

I am not the seller nor do I know him/her I am just always excited when I see a Dev kit!

I asked him a question on yahoo auctions. I will see if he responds. I'm kind of interested if anything is on the HDD too lol.

Ah, que bella... About how much does one of these go for on average? Until recently I haven't dug much into the Dreamcast dev world, but it has me completely entranced. :witless:

Cool stuff. I've always liked both the Katana box and the Dolphin box.

I'd also be interested to know if there's some files on the HDD.

That's a shame. If you used some serious recovery software on a blank HDD would it be possible to get anything from it?

I was pretty excited about a JAP dev kit being unearthed. It seems most that are around tend to be US or EURO machinesn and most of the 'best' unreleased games were being developed in Japan.

Hopefully one day all the good stuff will show up.
