Devkit freezing when creating user profile

got a zephyr running Flash 14719.0 XDK 21119.0

when creating user profile it just freezes at roughly 13 second every time!?


any help

pnet is still connecting........

 

corrupted nand.

 

everything else works ok though?

just cant create a profile!?!?

if the nand was knackered surely it wouldnt boot properly?

 

Are you creating the profile online? Are you using an IMU or a HDD?

I had to stop using my first PNET tag some years back as it would freeze my kit on login. I even tried completely deleting it, and recovering the tag but it would yield the same result. Never bothered to figure out what the issue was, just made a new profile :0

thats when it freezes - aaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhhh (and such other noises)

 

It's because your account had something on the dowload list that freez the console. (It happened to me a few times)


for you problem largeweed, did you tried to run a recovery ?

 

Same exact issue, wont create a profile, new hdd re ran recovery! Oh and ontop of that it erased all my old profiles which were online

 

so what do I do?

retry the recovery via laptop and select the delete all on hdd option?

 

It could be a bad recovery. Or a HDD problem.

 

I tried with 2 different recoveries and 2 different hdd's. Its something server side...

This could be a retaliation to stop all those RGH kits on pnet.... After all they are all running generated KV's

@largewooden spoon have you tried using a alternate memory unit? Also is this the only time it freezes?

never frozen before until I updated via laptop

should I maybe tick the option to wipe the hdd?

or just try to revert back to my 21076.6 version I have?

 

Revert back and see if the issue persists.

EDIT: also back up the hdd in neighborhood if you have important stuff on it and do a wipe.

 

It isnt as trivial as you would think to get an RGH on pnet, fusion removed alot of the online stuff but RGloader didn't. People have done it, and I haven't and thats as much as should be covered in this thread regarding that

Im talking about XDK!

 

I actually had an issue similar to this, signed in to an Xbox Profile within 5 seconds it would crash the entire console.
In the end, I made a new profile and that worked, thankfully.

Don't have a solution though, sorry.

 

run xekeysinstall should sove the problem.

 

What does that do exactly?
