Are the PS2 Test's NTSC? PAL? both??

 

the test models do both. ps2 was software dependant. i did see an option for RGB in the menu though browsing through it.

Check http://lorezan.free.fr/ps2/PS2 Tool guide.pdf (admittedly this is for the original PS2 TOOL) however it may have the hidden VGA port that you would need to access to check for video output on the PC side. You should still be able to get video output from the PS2 section however. I'm willing to help (as a potential purchaser) where I can however difficult given not many have used the PA's. If you can get back to me re: diagnosis and shipping that would be great thanks.

I'm thinking one might be a DTL-H30102 by the looks of the firewire port on the front.

 

I received DTL-H30001, DTL-H30002, and DTL-H30101 units when I ordered.

I would check I would not be surprised at all if he had DTL-H30102 units as well. Although it's like pulling teeth to get lists of what is available from him (not Shuma but the guy that Shuma is selling for.)

Yes, in general you'd need to determine (-if- the PA is similar to the TOOL) how to get VGA output from the PC-on-a-PCI card to see the Redhat GNU/Linux installation booting up and interrupt it in order to set the password/fsck the internal boot drive/other diagnosis mechanisms. If you can quickly measure up the size (length/depth/width) and weight I can use this to estimate a shipping cost out of USA to where-ever I am thanks.
