DEX-T10000

I was surfing as I do sometimes, trying different search engines and I entered DTL-T10000 and found this picture Here but the website is here, I noticed the model number of the TOOL as a DEX-T10000, I've never heard this model number before and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what it is for me please?

 

That's interesting, the only DEX hardware I know of is the DEX-4000:



If the picture of the DEX-T10000 was taken in september '99 (as its name suggests), I assume it was at one of the Sony developer conference (the unit looks like it's in a glass cube display).

 

Yeah it is inside a glass case, if you look really closely the S/N is 1009 or 6.

 

Maybe it refers to the mainboard, Sony lists mainboards of development hardware with DEX part numbers.
