yeah im a complete noob (i wouldnt even call myself that) when it comes to all things development. but is there a way to burn a dezaemon 2 gamefile to a cdr and somehow play off that ? i know they can be distributed via diskdrive.
Hmm, it is possible but it would require programming skills. On one of my Japanese Saturn demo discs there's a special game made using Dezaemon 2 that's bootable on it's own. Yakumo
news in the right direction anyways, if anyone has any insight to what kind of process is needed, please share what game is on the demo btw, hows the quality?
Deza2 homemade games require the original game, you can't have a homemade game running by itself. They can be distributed by backup cartridge and Floppy Disc as they are huge. The original game has 5 playable samples that are really great (check out satakore.com to know how to access the 2 "secret" ones) There are several demos of deza2, like 5 or 6, most of them are on Tech saturn demo discs and you can play some demos of the sample games (like biometal gust and daioh P!). Satmag sono CD vol.1 also has one special sample (complete) made by the guy of SSM. This sample is called Hakozaki Nekko no Daibouken and is really well done.
That's the one I'm talking about but I don't remember it starting with the dezaemon boot screen. Then again it's been an awful long time since I saw it running. Yakumo
