 What the hell?! Why did that guy rip that out of my F.A.Q for? Wanting to make a name for himself? That's just copying someone else's information.

Segafreak_NL take it easy i don´t think Yakumo just ripped you off, since something that makes me mad is when an arsehole(yeah sorry i think it is stupid when somebody does not know what my language is.) called danish for German, and that pissed me off too , and i know Yakumo don´t want to rip anyone off.

come on dude.. Yakumo is just giving a helping hand to community members with info he found online.

the faq you made is great btw. I still want you to finish it :)

    thanks.

I'm still wondering about what can be gathered from the info on the backup device from the review of Dezaemon 3D as I'm clueless about such affairs and I don't understand what is being said about the extracting of memory from the backup device. in other words; -eh?

Huh? Sorry but this is a misunderstanding, I am not talking about Yakumo..I'm talking about the guy that ripped the info out of my faq and posted it as a cheat on Gamefaqs. (I wouldn't have refered to Yakumo with 'that guy' anyway) I don't care that people copy some text and post it somewhere (naturally) but to post it as a cheat with your own name for credit is lame. That's all ;)

  6. Err, yeah. How do Danish and German come into play about Gamefaqs and Dezaemon?

Not only that, you'd STILL need to get your hands on a beta copy of the Dezaemon 64DD disk, and nobody honestly really knows how far into development it even was - it could have all just still been concept designs when it was cancelled. But yes, even if it did exist, you most likely wouldn't be able to use it, as the 64DD dev unit would demand the IPL ROM cart to be in the N64, not Dezaemon 3D.

ok to the misunderstanding, and to Paulo it would be like one of the danish politicians did, he guessed that the language of brazil was "brazilian"(he was asked if he knew what language they spoke in brazil) , and i know it is Portuguese. and i don´t think it is bad idea to have a good allround knowledge of the different languages of the world. But i can make that mistake (i remember i did it with the french cool M2 site) of not knowing with the language of that country.

on ebay a 64dd dev cart was sold and according ot the seller could be Dezaemon 3D. So it was perfectly possible that one of the 3 that had been sold was the beta of the game. But without the IPL ROM it's completely useless

    :p

Wow, I didn't knew there were more versions of Dezaemon besides the SFC version. I really wanted it, when I read a preview of it in a EGM issue. I wish more developers could create software like this for modern consoles.

There's a PSX version too which has loads of extra games on it that were taken from a Dezaemon contest. Some of them are actually pretty good as well. The bummer about the PSX version is the pathetic size of the PSX memory cards :(

That's true :( but there are PC shoot'em up construction kits out there but all in Japanese. There are some very nice home brew shooters out there if you look.

  16. Wasn't there a floppy disk drive, or adaptor, or something like that for the Playstation? I wonder if you could use that with the PSX version of Dezaemon.

The floppy disk drive was merely a memory card adapter. It has a standard memory card attached to a 3.5" floppy drive. A button on the drive dumps the contents of the memory card to the floppy while a second button dumps the contents of the floppy to the memory card. It is a raw data dump and not readable in a PC (though you can image the floppy on a PC if you wanted to back it up).

Yeah, that Saturn game was built on Dezaemon but I'm not too sure about all the other games. I'll have to take a look at the site when I have time. Thanks for the link :)
