Absolutely, although I'm yet to here what the deal with geographic servers is and how latency resistant it is.
I imagine that all the servers are gonna buckle on day one, I recall battle.net having a hard time when D2 launched for a bit. Hopefully they have it under control after all the WoW experience tho
Lol after experience with Wow Im sure blizz wont let the servers for D3 crash, ill be up playing it on launch night.
I'm not sure how theyre gonna break up the servers for D3, if it's anything like D2 was I suggest going with the non-default choice ie. US East since it generally has less of a stress load going on
Character classes need helpers, esp for caster types if solo bosses. Probably need alot of skill as a squishy to do a boss without a meat shield. Also why they even bother with 2v2? Barbarian / caster every single match 3v3 seems to be interesting. I am betting they will make the "warlock" type class overpowered and slowly nerf the shit out of it, so rolling a barbarian on day 1 until the tweaking and nerfing are done. Learned my lesson in wow, never play a blizzard game as a caster class like mage.
Yeah if you wanna plow through and not die all the time, go with a tank class. I usually go caster but until you hit mid levels its a constant health struggle without backup
Even after a decade of tweaking D2 the light sorc is still basically the most powerful/flexible character in the game if you gear her right (Infinity to break immunes, best on the merc). Matched only by a hammerdin, but most people get bored of hammerdins pretty quickly.
