Did I just kill my N64 attempting an RGB mod? Any advice appreciated

First time post, but I've done a lot of forum stalking here the past few weeks attempting to learn all there is to know about modding an N64 for RGB. Anyways, I'll try to keep this short.

    What I have:
    Rev-04 NTSC N64
    Scart to HDMI upscaler/converter
    NTSC LED TV

I built the amplifier detailed here: http://retrorgb.com/n64rgbmod.html
I connected the amplifier under the board following this guide: http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/ntsc-nintendo-64-rgb/
I purchased a "RAW SYNC" SNES SCART cable.

    Test #1
I anticipated sync issues since it's a rev 04 motherboard... but I decided to try it anyways after connecting the amp to see if by some miracle either my TV or the upscaler could read the signal without sync: System powers on, TV displays "No signal" (though I can see the information "RGB Scart" on the bottom left of my screen because of the upscaler). I try the system with composite cables just to make sure that I'm still good, and it works fine with composite cables.

    Test #2
I'm thinking at this point my problem is a lack of sync, so I connect pin 7 to pin 9 with a 75 ohm resistor in between, and scratch off the composite feed to pin 9. Then I test again: System powers on, again the TV says "no signal" and the upscaler information in the corner. I connected the composite cables and I see Mario 64 in black and white.

    Test #3
So at this point I know my sync feed is working since all I saw was luma in the composite feed. I was at a loss for what to do next. So since I'm a soldering noob, I figured I would double check all of my connections. I ended up re-soldering 3 weak looking connections and then tested again: The system did not power on.

Not sure what I could have possibly done by re-soldering two connections on the multi-av port and re-soldering one connection on my amplifier but apparently it was enough to make my N64 not want to turn on again. I checked for stray solder that might be causing a short and I don't see any. Is there anything touchy about the N64 that I'm missing? Is mixing that amplifier of the one version of the RGB mod with the connection locations of the other mod incompatible?

The community here seems super knowledgeable so I figure this post is my best chance at figuring this out. Any tips on what I might have done, or what I should check would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know a lot of soldering and modding, but revise your soldering and see if the solder have any other contact with another part of the system.

Unplugging it and plugging it back in ended up fixing it haha... Sorry for the duplicate thread too, this thread took over 24 hrs to post so I ended up making a more relevant shorter one. Thank you guys for the replies though!
