I am just wondering this because I have never seen one in box. Clearly it must have come in a box, but was it a Nintendo-branded box? Brown with the company name on it? The Western M82 came in a box, so I am wondering... at least I've seen a picture of a boxed M82, but never of the Famicom Box.
Nah, he has a Super Famicom box. The Famicom box is much more expensive and rare than the SFC one, yet I still have to see a box (I mean the box the box was boxed in box, box, box) for it, too!
"Yo dawg! I heard you was looking for a Famicom Box that came in a box. So I sent you a Famicom Box in a retail box that's packaged in a shipping box." In all seriousness, I couldn't find any pictures of one with some sort of retail packaging at all.
I had only known about the SFC box before this thread; now that I've done some reading, the Famicom box is way cooler than the SFC equivalent! Although these are obviously super rare, I'd like to see someone make standard NES games compatible with the unit.
Those are cool. As for the box question, here's a pic of the M82 in a box: Still can't find one of the Famicom but if the NES version came like this then I'm sure it did too.
Yet I still have to find a picture despite that Famicom Box's are still more common than Western M82's (I think). :/ Even Japan-Games hasn't come across a boxed unit I believe, and he must have sold more units than any other person alive Lol.
