Ok, I have a VGA box for the DC and it only has VGA and not the Monitor/Out option. What I want to know is how do I connect my PC monitor to it because I have another VGA box for the GC and it has a monitor out. I'd appreciate any helpful replies. Thanks!

No idea what you are talking about but I take it by monitor out you mean youcan connect it to a TV? It looks like you have a cheap and nasty Dreamcast VGA box. I have the official Sega one that has VGA, S-Video, AV and a headphone out on it plus a TV/Monitor switch. To connect your PC monitor to the VGA box you have is simple if it has a VGA out on it. Just use the same cable that connects your PC to it's monitor. that's all I use. I take the end out of the PC and put it in to the Dreamcast's VGA box.

That's what I did. On 2 PC monitors nonetheless. I guess I should try it again.

Got it figured out. There's a switch that lets you choose TV or PC. You have to put it on TV.

It doesn't matter what vga box you got, as it's just a set of cables - Dreamcast does VGA output by itself.
