Difference between Regular Hauppage Pvr and Gaming Edition??

I have been looking to get one of these pvr's soon for my videos on youtube so I can start showing directly captured footage. However I noticed there is a new gaming edition that came out, but is there any other difference besides coming with a hd cable for multiple systems? Also how well does it capture footage from a console using s-video input?

Chances are its "gaming edition" like all PC hardware is gaming edition, slightly OC'd but the price increase doesn't justify it.

Can you post a link to the model you're looking at? Hauppage shows different types and was wondering which one you're looking at as I'm interested in getting one, too.

    Thanks!

    The difference from the source?

    I've owned 3 capture cards:

    AVerMedia M150
    another avermedia one in 2009
    Hauppauge Colossus

    all work/worked excellent.

We are thinking of picking up a second Colossus and one AVerMedia AVerTV HD DVR as it's original drivers allowed recording sources with hdcp.

BTW, our m150 from 2005 or so recorded s-video just fine. if you are not looking to record 1080i you can get capture cards for dirt cheap. for 1080i $100-150 can serve you nicely :)
