Does anyone know what is different in the versions for the Wide-boy CGB & AGB?

    For example: what is the difference between a Wide-boy 64 CGB ver. A & Wide-boy 64 ver. C?
I heard CGB version C works with gameboy advance games too...is that true?

Also, which wideboys use only a gameboy/gameboy advance as a controller (& aren't compatible with a N64 controller for moving in-game)?

CGB is Nintendo's abbreviation for Game Boy Color and AGB is their abbreviation for Game Boy Advance. There might have been an upgrade option for the CGB version but I couldn't tell you for certain because I've never seen Nintendo's old dev parts order forms leak.

Firmware upgrade is the difference between wideboy cgb model, there is also the LCD/ debug variant. As far as I know the agb only had one firmware release. The firmware of the wideboy carts can be updated via n64 gang writer. Also the ide looking connector that is found on debug models is nothing more than a cart connector break out.
