    Dear friend

I have a Green debug, but I want a crystal Dev Kit, but I ask some of question.

What's differrence betwen Green Debug and Crystal Dev kit Xbox?
    have it same HDD limitation?

Can I install an external HDD with the USB port of Crystal, and mod it with emulator, back up game, XBMC....

Can I use the DVD hack for green debug for mod the crystal?

    Thanks

Normal xbox - 64 MB ram
Debug - 128 MB Ram (same Bios hdd limit as above), can modchip
Dev - 128MB ram (Same bios limit as above), can modchip

all can be modded with LBA support (chip or tsop) to be able to use more than arround 128gb.
Dev had usb, usb or to update the DVD emu boards firmware or not connected at all (my own observation so far, not sure, NO CONNECTION TO MAIN BOARD)
XBMC will work, ripping for personal backups wil work, dev is only bigger case, dvd emu and Serial port.

im not sure what you mean with ¨DVD hack¨ but I didnt tried it, but maybe you can transfer a DVD emu board to a Debug, but why do that when its already in a dev? well yea, sometimes someone sells only the board. You can use it to ¨stream¨ a iso to the xbox, but mainly for dvd layout optimizing(bad english, sorry, from NL) But I believe its not so much good use, for streaming Video, use xbmc and ur Debug is good for is, network, done.

:p Crystal looks awesome, and I dint own a debug, so I got a Dev because I liek to have the most options. else I realy only got the debug. ow and badly wanted to have the serial com, with is almost to useless after a certain dashboard version.

    Thanks

If I understand, the biggest differrence is VBA and USB port.

For bigger HDD, we need to mod.

Is it possible an softmod with splinter cell

Debug and Dev are same memory and hdd size.
Dev had Scsi ¨dvd emu¨, I dont know what you mean with vba, Virtual GameboyAdvance?
usb was for firmware uprgrade, or useless. front 4 Xboxusb are conected and you can connect any usbstick or usbhdd as long as xbmc understands it

LBA bios also availeble for debug/dev i believe, modchip or tsop... I kinda think its inposible to use a exploit, because the harddrive needs to be unlocked, looked at for fonts and then runs a exploit.
maybe a ¨bios from hdd¨ will give extra space, cant find google confermation on that.
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=331644 apears to tell its is posible to load a lba able bios after a exploit. not sure. :D try google for softmod and lba support

No,it uses a serial port for kernel debugging, not vga.
