And here we have yet another new handheld that also doubles up as a media player for MP3s and cartoons on cartridge.

Not sure what to say about the design really :smt042. But it has got some big(ish) licenced games. And the website is only in Dutch(?) or French at the moment.

erm... i'm not even sure you can call that ''french''.

from what i understand, it's a cartrige based console aimed at kids for educative purposes. it can also be used to play video games, watch cartoons, play mp3s and take pictures with an optional digital camera (?)

doesn't seem powerful enough for any homebrew or emulation interest too.

    :-/

  7. So from looking at the page, the Tony Hawk, Spiderman, and X-Men games are all in 2-D. But when you look at the page for the Rayman game, its in 3-D and looks like pretty good 3-D too. Now my question is, is this a 2-D system or a 3-D one. The Rayman "screenshot" looks as if it could have been ripped from the Dreamcast game, I'm just curious as to if this system is actually 3-D capable or if they are just full of crap and trying to make themselves look cool.

  8. oh... and what the hell is WinX?

  10. So its all Pseudo 3-D in the vein of Gameboy Advance games? That was pretty much my impression of it, but if you look at the screen shots for Rayman, it looks almost like the DC version. In my opinion this is either taken from opening CG sequences (PSX tv commercials anyone?) or else they just posted screen shots from some other system's game and called it their own. Dunno, my 2 cents, but I would love to hear what other people have to say about this.

Yeah, the Rayman screenshot is a stock image. System looks to be about GBA quality in ability or so. Will these come out in the USA?

I don't know, It's released at the end of September in Europe.
Activision and Konami are going to publish games for it.

They are still looking for developers I read on a Dutch developers site :) ! lekker@mac.com
